1. How much is the total investment? Total franchise package to start the business is P300,000.00. (VAT exclusive) 2. How long is the training? Head office orientation and training may take one (1) whole day plus two (2) days on-site training on weekends lasting 3-4 hours each. 3. What are the requirements to apply for a Franchise? a. Partyshots Photobooth at Google's HQ Singapore

Partyshots Photobooth invited to GOOGLE’s press event for SMBs (small and medium businesses) in Singapore Around 19 businesses from all over the Asia-Pacific were invited to the recent Google’s press event last April 17, 2013, at the Google’s headquarters in Singapore. Entrepreneurs from Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand converged in this prestigious event with a theme of “Helping small business think big”. Common to these companies are their relentless success attributed to their use of the giant search engine’s special features particularly Google Adwords. Only 2 companies were sent by the Philippines, one of which is Partyshots Photobooth (represented by its founder and owner Dr. Al Farabi Jaafar). The Philippine delegates were headed by Google Philippines country communications manager Ms. Gail Tan. Several media representatives from ABS-CBN, Business Mirror, Business World, Entrepreneur Magazine, Manila Bulletin, and Philippine Star were also present. The event was graced by Google head of Asia-Pacific Mr. Karim Temsamani who gave his inspiring and encouraging words on the potential of doing business in the region in the advent of internet marketing. He emphasized on the great opportunity created by the presence of the web for small businesses which will allow them to reach customers far beyond the locality of their stores. Google, he said, is committed in helping small businesses grow big.

Photo booth's transformation

The photo booth had its original look (80's and 90's) as a booth with curtains where individual/s can go inside and have his/her picture taken. Minutes later, the machine will dispense the photo. These photo booths, often seen beside schools or commercial establishments, provided people access to fast and instant service when they need ID pictures. This abated the need for them to go to a photo studio. That was history. The 21st century saw technology running at a very fast pace. This virtually drove the classic photo booth to extinction (at least in the Philippines). Despite the invasion of our civilization by digital cameras (of every size, shape, color, and form), a comeback occurred. Built from a network of a camera-printer-PC-etc. minus the booth and curtains, a new photo booth (or kiosk - more appropriately) was born. This time it is programmed to be mobile and the output for souvenirs. It is seen in almost every event possible. Try to attend a wedding nowadays, chances are you will find yourself posing in one of those machines. The photo booth changed the landscape of the event industry. It cemented itself as an integral part of many occasions whether weddings, debuts, kiddie parties, school or corporate events, baptisms, reunions, trade shows, product launching, sports activities, you name it. When we started our photo booth business 3 years back (in Manila, Philippines), we were not inclined about being with the same level with the existing ones. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. smile! Click. As soon as the flash fades, people crammed in front of the camera methodically become chaotic switching places. Some grabbing a new set of party props and awaiting the second shot. Smiles and stances frozen.. click. "Last shot!", the screenshot shows. More pandemonium ensues. Click. Exit time and another group of guests, amused and giggling, get ready for their turn of the next photo shoot session. Typical scene these days. Be it a wedding, debut, kiddie party, school or corporate event, chances are a photo booth somewhere in the corner is keeping the guests busy basking the moment. The excitement brought by this simple innovation easily brings the entrepreneurship out of most people. This phenomenon has perhaps resulted to many venturing into the photo booth business lately. Late in 2009, a friend invited me to a party where my family tried a photo booth. I was impressed by the fact that several gadgets when interconnected to each other produce such fun activity for guests in an event.
